Awards Presentation Luncheon March 9 , 2024 Embassy Suites hotel
Recipients are honored in front of family, co-op members, and peers who fully appreciate the dedication, inspiration, and unique cooperation required for Cooperative leadership.
Applications will be considered from CCPPNS active member schools only.
Awards are presented to teachers, directors, or other individuals who have given outstanding service to cooperative preschools. The specific instructions for each award nomination, are outlined below.
Teacher/Director Award is considered for any teacher or director currently employed by a member school.
This award includes the presentation of an award plaque and a Memory Book.
Teacher/Director Lifetime Achievement Award may be considered for teachers and directors who have been employed by a member school for 10 years or more. This award is often offered for milestone years or retirement. An individual is only eligible to receive this award once. This award includes an awards plaque and a Memory Book.
The Community Service Award and the Award of Merit are considered for individuals or organizations within the community who have gone above and beyond normal services to help parent participation nursery schools, regional or state councils, or individual preschools who contribute to the community through special services or activities. Awardees are presented with an awards certificate /plaque.
Nominations will be accepted through February 15, 2024, and the sooner, the better. This is a firm date - there will be no nominations accepted after this date.
Letters of endorsement for Teacher/Director Award and the Teacher/Director Life Achievement Award will now be accepted via email. Please submit letters of endorsement by February 15, 2024, to the email address bbdoc@cox.net
The sponsor, who nominates the recipient, is responsible for ensuring that all letters, checks, and supporting material are completed by February 15, 2024.

Community Service Award
Awards to (1) individuals or organizations within the community who have gone beyond normal services to help parent participation nursery schools, regional or state councils; or (2) individual preschools who contribute to the community through special services or activities.
Please be as descriptive as possible so we can share details about the nominee's contributions at the awards event at Convention.
Who may be considered? Members and non-members
Who decides? Awards Committee

Award of Merit
Awarded to an individual who has greatly assisted a preschool or regional council, or to a member of CCPPNS who has provided an outstanding service to a preschool, regional council, or to CCPPNS.

Who may be considered? Current board members of CCPPNS, regional council presidents, member families

Teacher/Director Award
Given to teachers and directors who have given outstanding service to cooperative preschools. This award can be received multiple times.
A minimum of twenty-five (25) letters of endorsement are required for any nominee to be considered.
Who may be considered? Teachers and directors currently employed by a member school
Who decides? The Awards Committee
Presented with? A certificate and a memory book

Teacher/Director Lifetime Achievement Award
This is a special award designed to honor a teacher or director who has devoted a significant portion (10+ years) of her/his life in service of the parent participation movement. It is customary to award this for a special anniversary or retirement.
A minimum of thirty (30) letters of endorsement from preschool members and alumni are required to be considered, as well as an additional five (5) letters from colleagues, business associates, other community leaders, or family members.
Who may be considered? A teacher or director who has served a member nursery school for at least ten (10) years
Who decides? Awards Committee
Presented with? Lifetime CCPPNS membership, a certificate and a CCPPNS pin, a memory book, and future convention registration fees waiver
Fee: $200
